A new free online platform, the Haitian Economic Network (HEN), aims to become a hub for Haiti's economy, bringing together entrepreneurs, professionals, students, investors, companies, associations and institutions in Haiti and in the diaspora, Le National reported.

The platform, available in French, English, Spanish and Haitian Kreyòl, is also open to international partners who want to work with Haitian businesses. Founder and CEO Christopher Joseph says HEN has three missions: to make the Haitian economic ecosystem visible, to connect its members and to open it up.

Registration is free. Le National's report did not say how many members have signed up so far.
