The En Lisant theatre festival will hold its 11th edition from Monday, November 9, to Sunday, November 15, 2026, with Haitian novelist Yanick Lahens as guest of honor, organizers announced at a launch conference in Port-au-Prince on Wednesday, October 28, Le National reported.

This year's theme is “L'héroïsme à bas bruit des femmes,” the quiet heroism of women, and the program is built around Lahens's work.

The festival is organized by the Brigade d'Intervention Théâtrale-Haïti (BIT-Haïti) and the festival committee. Le National presented it as part of the effort by young literary artists to keep theatre and literature alive despite the crisis the country is living through.
