Haiti will set its clocks back one hour on Sunday, November 1, 2026, the general secretariat of the presidency announced, according to Gazette Haïti. At 2 a.m., clocks will go back to 1 a.m.
The change ends daylight saving time for the year and is made under Article 2 of a presidential decree dated March 7, 2021.
Phones and computers connected to a network usually adjust on their own, but wall clocks, watches and some car clocks have to be set back by hand. Travelers should double-check flight and bus times for that weekend.
