Foreign Affairs Minister Raina Forbin held a videoconference on Tuesday, October 27, with the heads of Haiti's 57 diplomatic and consular missions to review the country's foreign-policy roadmap and reaffirm the priorities of its diplomatic and consular work, Le Nouvelliste reported.

The measures presented included steps to make the network of missions abroad more effective, better use of digital platforms to modernize consular services, and the gradual rollout of a “Pool of Diplomatic and Consular Administrators” meant to improve the management of Haiti's representations abroad.

No timeline or budget for the measures was announced.
