Police in the Southeast arrested three men on Wednesday, October 21, in the locality of Jean Malois, in Jacmel, on charges of sexual assault and criminal conspiracy, Le Nouvelliste reported.

The suspects are two 23-year-olds and a 56-year-old. Police seized a homemade pistol from one of them, who admitted using it with his accomplices since July 2025.

All three are in police custody. The departmental judicial police (SDPJ) is continuing its investigation to establish each suspect's role and guide the case through the courts.
