Haitian runner Jésumène Colin took third place in the Santo Domingo half marathon on October 17, in a first appearance at the race, Le Nouvelliste reported.

The AIC Foundation, which backed the two Haitian runners entered in the race, Colin and Andelson Desirin, welcomed them home on Monday, October 26, at its offices in Pétion-Ville. The meeting highlighted their results and looked ahead to the rest of Colin's career, with an Olympic dream in view, the newspaper said.
