Francesca André, a multidisciplinary author and artist of Haitian origin, has published two children's books, “From Cocoon to Wings” and “A Very Impatient Caterpillar,” Le Nouvelliste reported on October 21.

Both books deal with change, patience and self-confidence, themes the author links to her own experience. In an interview with Ticket Magazine, she said the two books resemble her equally.

“Growing up takes time,” she told the magazine.
