An independent commission has found Manchester City guilty on 114 of the 115 charges the Premier League brought against the club over alleged breaches of its financial rules, according to reports published on Friday, September 25.

The Premier League charged City in February 2023, covering nine seasons from 2009 to 2018. The three-person commission finished hearing the case in December 2024, and the verdict has been one of the most anticipated in English football.

No sanction has been announced, and the Premier League has not published the commission's full written decision. Penalties available to the panel range from fines and reprimands to points deductions or even expulsion from the league.

City have denied all of the charges throughout and are expected to appeal.
