Haiti's under-15 boys' team left for Azerbaijan on Saturday, October 17, to play in FIFA's first U-15 world tournament, which runs from October 22 to 31.

The tournament brings together 191 teams in 32 groups. Haiti is in Group AF with Andorra, Australia, Azerbaijan, Israel and Timor-Leste, and all its matches are at the Hovsan Sports Complex.

The schedule is packed: Haiti plays Australia on Saturday, October 24; Timor-Leste and Israel on Sunday, October 25; and Andorra and Azerbaijan on Monday, October 26.

The format is new. Matches last 40 minutes, in two halves of 20, are played eight-a-side on a pitch about half the normal size with full-size goals, and each delegation is limited to 14 players.

The team is coached by Cuban coach Raúl Valentín González Triana.
