Haiti's leader speaks days before the Security Council votes on renewing the Gang Suppression Force.
Prime Minister Alix Didier Fils-Aimé has traveled to New York to address the general debate of the 81st UN General Assembly. He is scheduled to speak on Friday, September 25.
His speech comes as Haiti presses for the Gang Suppression Force to be renewed and fully deployed. The Security Council vote is set for September 30.
